FEMA Should Recover $337,135 of Ineligible or Unused Grant Funds Awarded to the Port of Tillamook Bay, Oregon

Executive Summary

We audited FEMA Public Assistance grant funds awarded to the Port of Tillamook Bay, Oregon (Port), for damages resulting from severe storms, flooding, landslides, and mudslides that occurred in December 2007. The Port properly accounted for FEMA funds, but did not always expend the funds according to Federal regulations and FEMA guidelines.
