The City of Atlanta, Georgia, (City) received a $13.5 million award from the Georgia Emergency Management Agency, a FEMA grantee, for damages resulting from severe storms and flooding in September 2009. For the projects we reviewed, the City properly accounted for and expended FEMA funds according to Federal guidelines.
